It's a very good one and I love making these things, it's just that I found myself doing a lot of podcasting with other people this year and kept putting the recording of this show off. Alright. Here we are, back in the saddle. One of the best things about switching to monthly posts is that I can get fairly behind but I'm still not all that behind, if you take my meaning. So here is the countdown for the month of July. I've been working very hard to get caught up on all my editing and I think I'm going to hopefully be able to finish the year with a sigh of relief from a job well done! This is a good countdown and it contains the debut of a song that you're going to want to pay attention to now, so that you can remember where you were when we're still talking about it months and months and months later!

I substituted the phrase "esteemed ranks" but when you hear me pause before saying that, know that that pause (which i would have normally taken out, but have left in for posterity) is me trying to think of the phrase "rarefied air".

Top Ten Tuesday: Fall Out Boy "Centuries"

People who listen to the podcast will be very familiar with this song that only just recently left the Top Ten of our chart. This is a fun video that hints at the possibility that Fall Out Boy are going to do a running story with the singles from this album, sort of like they did for the last album. I'm a little confused by the end, because that rapper doesn't appear on any songs on this new album. Maybe he's just there as a cameo.

 Well I had some time to myself on Saturday morning/afternoon. So that, plus the announcement of the Grammy nominees yesterday made for a quick and easy recording session. I was done recording by 11pm!
