Top Ten Tuesday: DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller "Wild Thoughts"

This is quite a steamy video, but fairly straightforward. I wonder if we'll look back in 20 years and shake our heads in wonder at the phenomenon of DJ Khaled.

Also, this song uses the guitar part from "Maria, Maria" by Santana (featuring Wyclef Jean and The Product G&B) which was #1 back in April of 2000. I will include the video for that below as well!

Top Ten Tuesday: Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna "This Is What You Came For"

This was an enjoyable song and an enjoyable video, but it feels like he didn't need RIHANNA to do this vocal, did he? I don't know. Maybe he did.

Top Ten Tuesday: Rihanna "Needed Me"

Another catchy songs in what is becoming an exclusively Rihanna genre of sexy revenge videos. This one is NSFW, so I will also include just the audio, if you want to listen, but you're in an environment where boobs and butts might not be super appropriate

Top Ten Tuesday: Rihanna featuring Drake "Work"

I believe that this song has gone to #1 because of the release of the video, so that suits us just fine!

I'm not sure what this video is doing because the song finishes and, like, a new video starts. The second video is slightly NSFW (she's wearing a see-through shirt) but it seems like it's the song over again. Weird

Top Ten Tuesday: Rihanna & Kanye West & Paul McCartney "FourFiveSeconds"

This is a fantastic song. Anyone who balks at this because they feel Paul is somehow lowering himself to a  lower level of performance or playing with flavors of the month or whatever is missing out on a wonderful experience. It's a simple, lovely song and I really think that they all enjoyed making it. They all seem wonderfully comfortable in the video

Top Ten Tuesday: Eminem featuring Rihanna "The Monster"

Well, the choices really came down to which collaboration I wanted to write about. And if I have to pick between Eminem/Rihanna and Pitbull/Ke$ha, well, the choice is pretty straightforward.

I just wish there was an actual video to go with this song. But I REALLY don't like Pitbull, so here you go. Close your eyes and imagine your own music video! And then write the treatment in the comments section!

Top Ten Tuesday: Bruno Mars "Locked Out of Heaven"

Here's the song that entered 2013 at #1. It has been sitting at #2 for the past couple of weeks while "Thrift Shop" (which you'll remember from a couple of weeks ago) holds the top position. This song comes from his latest album, Unorthodox Jukebox which you can purchase at Amazon or iTunes

I saw Bruno Mars perform it on SNL and it was really fantastic. I think I don't give him enough credit and I'm sure that if I checked out his albums, I would enjoy them immensely!

And, as a bonus, here is Bruno Mars again, performing "Locked Out of Heaven" and "Walking on the Moon" with Sting, and then "Could You Be Loved" along with Rihanna, Damien Marley and Ziggy Marley in the Bob Marley tribute from this year's Grammys. It was one of my favorite performances of the evening.
