Top Ten Tuesday: 6ix9ine featuring Nicki Minaj & Murda Beatz "FeFe"
This song debuts at #4 this week and while I don't love the song itself, this video had to have been a blast to make. Like, it feels like he was just like "ok here's all of the things I want in my video" and they were like "sounds good. coming right up!"

Top Ten Tuesday: Nicki Minaj "Chun Li"
This one rocketed from 92 -> 10 this week! I love that she named this song after a Street Fighter II character.
And it's a very interesting video (I wrote the first paragraph before I watched it) although I wish there had been more Street Fighter refs in it

Top Ten Tuesday: Migos, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B "MotorSport"
This video feels weirdly old school AND very new. It feels like what a "hot new video" would have looked like in 2002, but the style is very "current state of pop-rap, for the most part"

Top Ten Tuesday: Ariana Grande featuring Nicki Minaj "Side to Side"
A cool video and a pretty good song. Weird Guess brand plugging, though.

Top Ten Tuesday: David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha, and Afrojack "Hey Mama"
This song is very catchy and I'm sure we'll be hearing it a lot this summer.
The video is kind of like "Mad Max Goes to Bonnaroo" which is a decent concept I suppose.
It's not my favorite video so far this year, but it's enjoyable enough.

Top Ten Tuesday DOUBLE FEATURE: Nicki Minaj "Anaconda" / Jeremih featuring YG "Don't Tell 'Em"
Hi. So I missed last week's Top Ten Tuesday. It was one of those things where I remembered it and then forgot again and over and over until it was Wednesday morning.
So what we're gonna do is a double feature. But that's not enough to make up for the transgression for missing a week of this feature. So we're going to double up on the double feature. You see, both songs featured on this week's TTT sample songs from the 90's. So here's 4 freakin videos!
A bold sample from Nicki Minaj. A raunchy, empowering song celebrating the female posterior that samples a raunchy, empowering song celebrating the female posterior. We're through the looking glass, here, people.
Feature 2:
This one is a less obvious sample, but I think I like it even more. "Rhythm is a Dancer" is one of the songs I think about when I imagine clubs in the early 90's. I like the Jeremih song, too.

Top Ten Tuesday: Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj "Bang Bang"
This one is interesting because I think I liked the song more before I saw the video. That doesn't often happen. I know that I'll probably go back to liking it as much as I did before, but this video seems a lot like just an ad for Beats Audio stuff. I mean...I guess it's fine, but I was hoping for a little more I think.
Weird. I don't often say things on here that aren't positive. I don't think this was a negative review necessarily. Just sort of an "oh."
