New Countdown!: October 2020

The Killers

Hey everyone! We are blasting towards the end of 2020 and, as you may know, or maybe not, 2021 will bring a switching of source charts for this show! I've been using the Alternative Songs airplay chart for a little over 10 years, but next year we're going to give the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart a shot. It will reflect the airplay as well as the streaming and purchasing of songs. So it'll be more in the hands of the people!

This episode was a lot of fun and it also brought one of my favorite songs of 2020 onto the show!

Enjoy!

New Countdown: Countdown? More like GET Down!

Foster the People

I feel like there are a lot of songs (and bonus songs) on this week's countdown that are designed to get you moving! So take this one out on the dance floor and cut a rug! Then take those rug pieces and give them to someone who collects things cut in half! They'll love it! And you'll love making it!

Top Ten Tuesday: Juice Wrld "Lucid Dreams"

Ok, it may be that I've been listening to too much Blink-182 recently, but I feel like this song could have just as easily have been a pop-punk song, maybe in like 2003. The chords and the lyrics and lots of other stuff. It was very interesting to listen to it through that lens. Tell me if you can hear it. I really liked this song.
