Top Ten Tuesday: Jason Derulo "Want To Want Me"

This song is very catchy and the video is pretty typical for the genre and what we've seen from Mr. Derulo in the past. UNTIL HE STARTS DOING BATMAN CURLS (that's the kind of curl where you hang upside down and bend in half like Bruce Wayne/Batman is doing in the 1989 Batman movie.) Why would he do those during a music video? Simply to show off his abs and ab strength? Probably.

And here's a video that may have helped Mr. Derulo break into the Top Ten. I've seen this posted a number of times on Facebook recently and that really helps the song climb the charts ever since YouTube hits have started to count for the Hot 100:

Top Ten Tuesday: Jason Derulo featuring Snoop Dogg "Wiggle"

Well, this is the last song on the Top Ten this week that I haven't already played. It's catchy, but it does mark the second single from this album (out of the two he's released) that has been about girls' butts. I guess that's a topic that men have been writing about for centuries. Anyways, enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday: Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz "Talk Dirty"

Here's a song I feel conflicted about. I like the way the song sounds, with the horns and everything, but the lyrics give me pause. I guess they shouldn't. It's certainly not the first song about booty. 2 Chainz's verse is very explicitly sexual, but I suppose that's not really a problem either. And I like the shots of the guys dancing because they're very talented.

So I guess it kind of breaks even. I like it way more than that Pitbull/Christina Aguilera song with the a-ha sample.
