Throwback Thursday: 1997 (4 Weeks at #1)

I mean, I know maybe there's something sort of cringe-worthy about this now, but when I watched this video again recently after not having seen it for years, I was hard-pressed to find it. I think this one might be kind of a classic?

Spice Girls - Wannabe (2/22-3/15)

Top Ten Tuesday: twenty one pilots "Heathens"

Woohoo! There are two songs from our countdown currently in the Top Ten of the Hot 100. And they're both by twenty one pilots! Amazing! This song moves from 11-4!

New Countdown: Beating Sinead at Her Own Game

Fitz & the Tantrums

We're finishing up the episodes for July and moving into August, so we get one last week of songs from the week I was born!

Enjoy!

Throwback Thursday: 1998 (4 Weeks at #1)

A classic. My stepdad bought me this soundtrack after I had a surgery. It's a very good soundtrack. This song got a tad overplayed, but I think we can all look back fondly on it now.

Aerosmith - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing (9/5-9/26)

Top Ten Tuesday: The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey "Closer"

A very "late summer" song and video. I am already nostalgic about Summer 2016 and it's not even over yet!

This song debuts on the Hot 100 at #9 this week!

Also, I love the shoutout to Blink-182 in the second verse :)

New Countdown: Streaks Come to an End

Bishop Briggs

Man, there is a lot of danceable music on this episode. It wouldn't surprise me if you got halfway through it and found yourself inexplicably shaking your moneymaker. Let me know if this is the case!

Enjoy!

Throwback Thursday: 1999 (4 Weeks at #1)

Three HUGE songs from 1999. If you're making a movie about 1999, you can "No Scrubs" or "Believe" and people will know exactly when we're setting our scene.

TLC - No Scrubs (4/10-5/1)

Cher - Believe (3/13-4/3)

Monica - Angel of Mine (2/13-3/6)
