Throwback Thursday: 1996 (2 Weeks at #1)

2Pac - How Do U Want It (featuring K-Ci and JoJo) /California Love (featuring Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman) (7/13-7/20)

I guess this is a double A side single, but it's really weird to me to be soooo familiar with one of them ("California Love") and to be completely clueless when it comes to the other one.

Mariah Carey - Always Be My Baby (5/4-5/11)

This is one of 5 songs from my own personal Mariah Carey mix. I love this song quite a lot.

Top Ten Tuesday: Desiigner "Panda"

This doesn't have an official video yet, that I could tell. There are several dance videos, but I want to feature official stuff, you know?

This is a catchy song, but I don't know what it is doing up in the top 5 (it moves #14-#5 this week) but I assume there must be some popular Vine or meme or YouTube video or something that I'm not cool enough to have heard of yet :)

New Countdown: Two Gross!

X Ambassadors

Not much to say this week, enjoy the show!

Throwback Thursday: 1997 (2 Weeks at #1)

Notorious B.I.G featuring Puff Daddy and Mase - Mo Money Mo Problems (8/30-9/6)

I just love this song so much and the video is a big throwback to one of the styles of the time. Whenever I hear this song, it makes me think, "Man, Biggie was a great rapper." Not that Mase and Puffy aren't talented, but there's a reason they left Biggie's verse for last, you know?

Top Ten Tuesday: Mike Posner "I Took a Pill in Ibiza"

Very cool song and this video has him doing his very best Bob Dylan, only if Dylan showed some of the sadness and isolation that he MUST feel, on his face.

New Countdown: Not Their First Rodeo

Cage the Elephant

In this thrilling episode of the AFDAT10C, our daring hero keeps thinking songs are from debut albums, a mistake that could prove to be his undoing! All this and a reverse rock block. DON'T MISS IT.

I think I missed my calling writing promotional television commercials :)

Enjoy!
