The "cover art" for this episode is not random as it normally is, but was purposefully selected after Lila correctly pointed out that there's only one female voice in this whole countdown. New Countdown: That Nostalgic Feeling of a Comatose Computer

There was a time, early on in this countdown's life, where I would constantly have computer problems and would have to figure out ways around them. That is what I dealt with, with this episode as my computer has fallen very ill. But I am hopeful that it is on the mend. This episode was entirely recorded while I waited for Nicole from Apple to call me back. Which is not a dig against Nicole. She has been awesome and I recognize that she is not only dealing with me.

ANYways. This was a good countdown. I hope that the musical differences between my vocals and the songs isn't too jarring. Enjoy!

Well, I learned something very important this week: Recording in my office, I need to speak up, because I don't sit as close to the microphone. So I'm worried you're either not going to be able to hear me or you're going to have my vocals turned up to an appropriate level and will blow your ears out with the music. Either way, I hope you like what you hear....for as long as you CAN hear!

I'm a little late in posting this one because my sister graduated from college this weekend! Isn't that nuts?1 Remember when she graduated from High School? I was already 2 years into doing this podcast and I did a flashback countdown of songs from the first week of June from the week *I* graduated from High School. If I'd been on my game this week, I would have done a similar Flashback Countdown for this week in 2005, when i graduated from College. Oh well! Live and learn :)

I just realized that I missed celebrating the 6th anniversary of the podcast. It's crazy that I've been doing this for more than half a decade!
