Throwback Thursday: 1992 (13 Weeks at #1)

Simply a classic. There's basically nothing else to say on the subject, is there?

New Countdown: A Tale of Two Intros

Green Day

It was the best of intros, and it was the worst of intros. I went the full gamut this week. Not that the "worst" one was bad, but it was certainly a groaner! Enjoy!

Throwback Thursday: 1998 (13 Weeks at #1)

It never occurred to me until semi-recently that this was a response to Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney's "The Girl is Mine".

I definitely remember when this one was on MTV and VH1 all the time.

Top Ten Tuesday: The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk "I Feel It Coming"

This is such a fun video. I think it's definitely meant to look like "Billie Jean" set on another planet. I mean there are some definite plot differences, but the overall look is the same. You see it right?

New Countdown: Still Lucky

Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness

Believe it or not, Spring is sorta kinda starting to be somewhat in the air as of the completion of this recording. I, for one, am excited to get to Spring and Summer :)

We've got two pretty big pieces of news in the countdown this week, so i celebrated with an additional Bonus Song!

Enjoy!!

Top Ten Tuesday: Kodak Black "Tunnel Vision"

This video and song are very intense and bring up a lot of issues. And then it actually ends on a surprising note. Very interesting.

New Countdown: Two Shall Fall, So That Two May Rise

Judah and the Lion

These post titles are getting slightly biblical lately, aren't they? Weird. Remember when they were, overall, basically just punny? I sure do :)

This is a fun episode and the start of a new month! Enjoy!

Throwback Thursday: 1999 (12 Weeks at #1)

A classic. Simply a classic. We are getting into the rarefied air now, folks. Enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday: The Chainsmokers & Coldplay "Something Just Like This"

This song moved 56 -> 5 this week and I have to imagine it's because of this performance which has racked up nearly 5 million views in 11 days. Insane. Good song, though. A nice combination of both of their sounds

New Countdown: I'm Still Alive!

Green Day
I don't know what it is, but as I was listening to "Still Breathing" tonight, it really hit me. I'm still here, doing my thing almost 7 years in. And it still feels pretty pure. I don't have a lot of listeners, but I have fun making these and the people that do listen seem to enjoy them and that's really all I can ask for. I love making these shows and I'm just going to keep on doing them for as long as I can. Thanks for listening :)

Now let's get to the music, SHALL WE?!???

Throwback Thursday: 1994 (11 Weeks at #1)

I love this song and "I Can Love You Like That" so much. They remind me of riding my bike home from school in Annapolis in 1994.
